Weekend of Chamber Music returns with their 2021 season, Into the Light! WCM Co-Artistic Director Andrew Waggoner will moderate a far-ranging discussion of 2021 Composer in Residence Kurt Rohde’s music, his varied career as composer and violist, and the roots of his work in his own lived experience. On the program will be live performances of Rohde’s credo petrified, for solo cello; and Night Vase & Obsession Toccata, for solo violin, featuring veteran WCM violinist Sunghae Anna Lim, and WCM Co-Artistic Director and cellist, Caroline Stinson. The socially-distanced audience will have the chance to take part in the discussion with both the composer and performers.
