Saturnalia Solstice is a special fire-light performance featuring the Farm Arts Collective ensemble in a winter PERFARMANCE around a large fire. Based on the famous ancient Roman holiday of Saturnalia, one that honored the god Saturn (god of agriculture and harvest), and from which holiday many deduct Christmas sprang, the performance features stories, songs, poems, and dances that bring participants from dark to light in the spirit of solstice.
Saturnalia Solstice will bring the community together, outdoors in a safe and celebratory event. Dress warmly, drinks of all kinds will be offered.
Masks are required and social distancing will be practiced.
