A hands on experience in fermentation including the chemistry, health benefits, and a practical how-to-make classic and unique fermentations from cabbage to kombucha. The workshop invites all participants to follow along with the teachers, Tannis Kowalchuk, Mark Keoppen, Wendy Townsend, Eva Barnett in the preparation of 3 unique fermentations in the workshop.
Here is what do you need to follow along:
Medium or Large Mixing Bowl
Large Sharp Knife
3 cleaned quart-size ball jars w/lids
Grater/Rasp (we can share if you don’t have one)
1 head Cabbage (we do not have this at the farm at the moment)
1 Black Tea bag
1 bottle Kombucha from store
